Why is it that the only ship I actually ship in Game of Thrones, got all of one fanfic? Seriously, how can I be one of like two people who ship 'em?

I wish I could write fanfics, then at least I could write for the pairing myself

That's...huh. That one never would have occurred to me.

I've only seen one episode of the show. I wish I could see it somehow without having to go through HBO because I'm poor =(

Also I got odd ships in a lot of fandoms, but I think this is the only one where I am basically the only one shipping the pairing...

Oh and it sucks that you haven't watched the series because it is quite good, maybe you can buy the dvds when they are on sale? I could offer to lend you mine, but well they are in a different zone and shipping DVDs to America would be seriously expensive:)

and man I really do not have the money for DVDs right now =/ and I'd rather get into a fandom by trying out the source material first, then deciding if it's worth spending money on. I feel like this ties into GRRM's attitude towards his work but I'm not sure if he had any control over HBO's exclusivity (though I guess he *did* choose to let HBO run the show...)

I know the feeling:) There is always ways of getting stuff online though. Or the library? They tend to lend out DVDs and stuff too!

As our professor said on Monday when he talked about all the films we have to watch for the subject: "You guys always find a way of getting them and I will leave it at that."

GoT is really, really hard to find online. I've looked. =| HBO does a pretty thorough job of making sure nobody can access it.

The library may be a good idea, but would they get it so soon? idk
