Another fucking BBC!Sherlock spoiler on Tumblr. seriously, how hard is it to write spoiler(s) in your tags?

The way this is going I probably won't follow any personal blogs when Sherlock finally airs...

:( Sorry. I guess it's a good thing I've been so distracted by comic books that I've been neglecting tumblr.

Unfollow unfollow unfollow, imo. If you have multiple people who reblog Sherlock spoilers without tagging...well, maybe it would be best to unfollow them all.

I'll be sure to tag everything with the words 'spoilers' when Sherlock airs.

Apparently it is! It isn't like the spoilers I've gotten have been that big (because I assume BBC is guarding their secrets really well) it is just stuff I would have prefered not to know.

I did, I got another person that will be unfollowed soonish if s/he doesn't get better at tagging their stuff, because I know s/he likes Sherlock, and used to be great at tagging...

When it airs I am less likely to get pissed if I get spoiled, or more correctly I won't get spoiled because I will watch the episode before I go on tumblr, just like I do with every other show I watch.

Anyway I will tag my Sherlock stuff with spoiler and spoilers too, so you shouldn't be scared of getting spoiled by me!

Seeing as the new series doesn't air till sometime later in the year I'm terrified of what spoilers the fandom is going to dig up by then. I just hope we can both avoid them.

Maybe they got bored/frustrated with tagging? It isn't that much trouble imo, and it makes your tumblr so much neater (and easier to search).

Sometimes I go on tumblr before I watch certain shows but I know if I get spoiled it's my fault. I don't have tumblr savior but I'm going to watch Sherlock ASAP so that shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah I know, I am almost want to stay away from Tumblr. until then, but I think with some aggressive unfollowing and not so aggressive reminders to people about tagging their spoilers we should be okay?

I don't tag everything on tumblr. but I do tag 99% of my fandoms and all spoilers, though my threshold for what counts as spoilers are usually something around a day, except when there is character death or something along those lines, then I tag it as spoilers for a bit longer, and always with the show/film/book name.

You should really use tumblr. saviour! Though you usually use tumblr. on your phone right?

I am the same, after something has aired the spoilers I get are my own damn fault, before it has aired is a completely different matter! I can't not use tumblr. for the next however long it takes them to actually air Sherlock. Or I can, but it seems pretty unfair when people can just use tags.

God, it's so long though, right? I don't think either of us could stay off tumblr until the end of the year. :( Aggressive unfollowing and reminders are probably your best bets. I don't think I have but one or two Sherlock fans on my flist and they don't reblog it much, so...

Yup. It's easier and necessary because of usage reasons, but I don't honestly mind it. I've gotten pretty used to the app and tbh I hate the non-mobile dashboard on tumblr right now, lol.

Agreed. I forget, are you looking forward to Star Trek Into Darkness? Because my flist said something about spoilers on AO3, so I imagine they're on tumblr too. If you don't want to be spoiled for that be careful.

I am kinda tired of tumblr. right now, but yeah staying off it until Sherlock airs is not an option! Yeah I am barely following anyone right now...

I don't have any issues with the phone version myself, though I don't use it that often, mostly only to look up messages and stuff.

Nah, not at all, I don't know anything about the shows/films that start with Star and ends with Wars/Trek/Gate and so on.. Thanks for the warning though!
